July 4th Happy Hour

Happy 4th of July, Everyone!  We had a little happy hour party yesterday here at the cottage.  A few snacks, a few bottles of wine, also fireworks from the Sybi's front porch.  It was a lovely evening with a few close friends.  I chose a simple tablescape; using rustic pieces, paired with vintage glass, also pewter chargers for a casual celebration -

Sybi dressed for the 4th, in red/white stripe fabric draped upon her railing, paired with navy, white star voile, also a flag.

Tied upon the railing with thin white ribbon, I puff the fabric between swags for a bit of interest.

Foyer dressed with a flag, also a few stars

Chandelier with stairs, and stems of tinsel

Snacks displayed upon rustic three tier serving piece, vintage plates, antique silver plates, also rustic serving pieces adorned with birds.

Here the view of the dining room, foyer, and keeping room.

In the kitchen window; flags swaged

Our very funny friend, Robert, in his flippy flops, with his glass of wine, leisurely laid upon the settee in Sybi's foyer.  He wanted to be on the blog.  Full of fun, usually the life of the party, one of those guys you can depend upon - a great friend to have.  Wish granted, you're on the blog. Thank you for reading it!  Thanks to all of you as well -

Wishing you good food, great friends, also a Happy 4th of July
